Perhaps, it wasn’t the typical Monsignor Farrell-St. Peter’s gridiron matchup we’re accustomed to seeing, but it may have carried even more significance as the two teams squared off in the inaugural CHSFL 7-on-7 Flag Football matchup Thursday at Farrell’s DiTommaso Field.

There’s a first time for everything and St. Peter’s Boys High School’s capped its 103rd commencement with an unprecedented graduation parade and diploma distribution recently at its New Brighton complex.

St. Peter’s paid homage to its 122 graduates during its 103rd commencement via a virtual ceremony on Friday evening.

The ceremony was emceed by John Reilly Walsh, St. Peter’s Dean of Academics. St. Peter’s pastor, Rev. Michael Cichon, delivered the opening prayer, while Bishop John O’Hara, the Episcopal Vicar of Staten Island, also addressed the graduates.
