20 Jan St. Peter’s clinches Staten Island CHSAA crown
The Staten Island Advance said it best in their headline, “St. Peter’s clinches SI CHSAA hoops crown with win in OT thriller.” The Jan. 19 game was a thriller indeed. For the second year in a row, and 27th time overall, St. Peter’s (12-3, 5-0 in CHSAA) clinched the Staten Island CHSAA hoops crown with a 59-55 overtime win at St. Joseph-by-the-Sea on Friday night.
